So last week I entered the American Songwriter Lyric Contest. Entering contests is not something I normally do, but every once in a while I’ll get cocky and think I have a legit chance to win something.

This particular contest is judging songs based solely on the merits of the lyrics. I entered 4 songs, and I’ll the you, the reader, decide what sort of chance I have.
